One randomly selected recipient will get an 11x17 single-character commission from ‘Shadowman’ artist Jon Davis-Hunt.
Original art collectors and fans of comic book artist and video game designer Jon Davis-Hunt now have an opportunity they’ll want to pursue.
Valiant Entertainment has launched a giveaway promotion, which was announced today, allowing one randomly selected winner the chance to get a free 11x17 original art commission of a single character completed by the artist of the new “Shadowman” series, which goes on sale at your local comic shop on April 28.
The giveaway is underway, with Valiant already accepting entries. According to a press release from the New York-based publisher, entries will be accepted until March 31 at 11:59 p.m. EST. The winner will be notified via email by 5 p.m. EST on April 1.
Davis-Hunt began drawing comics in 2008, according to his website. In 2014, he worked with writer Gail Simone at DC Comics’ Vertigo to co-create and draw the series “Clean Room,” and he redesigned the WildStorm Universe and partnered with scribe Warren Ellis as the artist on the 24-issue “The Wild Storm” series for DC Comics starting in 2016.
