The comic book series, running in conjunction with “Mighty Morphin,” boasts the franchise having two teams for two series, as the Unlimited Power era continues with the Omega Rangers teaming up with Drakkon.

The Power Rangers are celebrating 28 years of continuously being on television, according to a press release from BOOM! Studios, with nearly 900 episodes shown to date. Launched in 1993 on Fox by creator Haim Saban, the franchise began with “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.” Now on “Power Rangers Dino Fury,” the show airs Saturdays on Nickelodeon.
