Ready for the next installment of James Harren’s kaiju comic “Ultramega” from Skybound Entertainment and Image Comics? You will be after checking out this advance preview of the comic’s third issue, which goes on sale May 19.

Created by Harren, who writes and draws the limited series, “Ultramega” takes place following a cosmic plague which has spread globally, transforming swaths of people into aggressive kaiju. The Ultramega, three heroes who have been granted powers, are all that stands in the way of total destruction. The comic is colored by Eisner Award winner Dave Stewart with letters from Rus Wooton.

Cover A of the issue, seen at the top of the page, was illustrated by Harren. Variant covers by Ryan Ottley, Frank Martin and Afu Chan will also be available. Chan’s variant cover is part of Skybound’s May campaign honoring Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, with proceeds going to Los Angeles-based volunteer organization Chinatown Community for Equitable Development (CCED).
